Welcome to the new and improved holritzphotography.com!

Blogging has been an important part of our business and our relationships with clients, colleagues, friends, and family for a couple of years now, and we realized that there was really no reason to continue to use a traditional gallery-based website as our main site. With this in mind, we've combined the best of both worlds. We are thrilled with the opportunity to continue relationship building with those of you who are connected to us through our blog. We want you to get to know us. We'll be sharing our recent sessions and weddings, family fun times, and industry excitement. Whether you're a potential client, a current client, a photographer, a friend, or family, this is the place to come for news and the latest pictures from Holritz Photography and the Holritz family! We also want to get to know you, so leave us comments and let us know you've stopped by.

Site navigation is simple. You can either click on the links across the top of the site, or you can rollover the images of us above.

For those of you who want to reminisce a little and see old blog posts, you can still see our old blog here .

OK, formalities are out of the way, now sit back, relax, and enjoy hanging out with us for a while!

Taylor is a Senior!
Tuesday, September 02, 2008

One of our ever so awesome babysitters, Taylor, is graduating this year! We were very excited to do a little bartering with her :) We are ALWAYS in need of babysitting, and Taylor is definitely one of the best!

Thanks so much Taylor, for all of your help this past year! I hope you love these few images! I'll get you some more as soon as I can!

I had a blast hanging out with you and your friends!

Beautiful girl!
Beautiful light!
She knows how to turn the sassy on, for sure.
AND she has an amazing smile!
Love this one.
Senior year is a confusing time. I found this to be fitting.
We ran into the gorgeous Morgan, of Soirees (a fabulous Chattanooga wedding planner) mid-session. I was so excited to see her, as I have seen her since her recent engagement!
More sass.
Loved the red wall!
Quiet moment. Not many of them around this girl and her friends.
I was a fan of this location!
Taylor's last name is Lindsay, so we HAD to track down this street sign for a final shot!
It was a little dark when we finished... We had a blast!

Baby Jack... Session Two!
Tuesday, September 02, 2008

I am so excited about my recent session with Baby Jack. I just love seeing my babies grow up, and Jack has changed SO much in the last few months!

Mike and Tammy, it was WONDERFUL to see you again. I can't wait to see your finished website (Mike and Tammy are putting the finishing touches on their photography website as we speak! Can't wait to be able to show that to my blog friends!).

I hope you enjoy your round two slideshow! See you soon!

In LOVE with his hair.
Sibling love. So cute.
Carter is singing... "Jack, Jack, the dancing man"... Cute song, but sadly, that's all of it! Someone needs to come up with a few more words ;)
He's a strong baby. Check out that head strength.
Apparently, a favored position.
I love how Syd is totally into Baby Jack... and Carter is totally into his own world. Typical of so many things.
I've never seen a child so enthralled by a mobile. Jack was fussy, so Tammy put him in the mobile... he completely stopped fussing and starting cooing and talking to the spinny color things. Crazy.
Tammy said Baby Jack isn't totally into reading, but she tries anyway. I love her determination.
Good tummy time!
One last image of that adorable face! Check out the slideshow for fun bath pictures and more!
hugs!

Katie: What a PRECIOUS baby!!! And a precious little family to go along with him. I do love his hair (and he has the cutest little lips)! I caught myself smiling through the slideshow -- as always, GREAT JOB! (02.09.2008 ,20:11)
Tammy H: Love, love, love the pictures as usual!  The images you have captured since our baby Jack was born are priceless to me!  Thanks! (02.09.2008 ,20:09)
mike Houston: Amber, thank you so much for the images of Jack.  We will have memories of our new family that we couldn´t have caught without you.  Look forward to our next session. (02.09.2008 ,19:46)

Baby Analeigh and her wonderful family.
Tuesday, September 02, 2008

This past Saturday, I climbed outta bed a little earlier than normal (I do like my morning sleep :)) and headed over to meet Baby Analeigh and her family for the first time. When Sherry met me in the driveway, and gave me the biggest smile imaginable, I knew I'd met a kindred spirit. As the session progressed, that feeling was confirmed. Sherry, her amazing husband Gary, big brother Clay, and the amazing Analeigh were an absolute joy to be around. I had a wonderful time.

When I asked Sherry to tell me about her family, the words she sent to me were amazing. I teared up while reading how much she loves her family. I'm going to use her words to caption my images today.

Sherry and Gary, enjoy your slideshow. You guys were amazing.

Life is too short and it goes by quickly.  God has blessed me with an incredible family and the life of my dreams.
What can you say about an angel?  She gives hugs that never end, kisses sweeter than honey, and has a laugh that will bust your heart wide open.
Clay is a FANTASTIC big brother. I can’t believe the amount of time he spends with his little sister!
What about my family and children do I never want to forget?  Wow, EVERYTHING. LOL.
Smiles and laughter everywhere.
I want to remember all the silly little things that we take for granted.
He is everything a mother could wish for, athletic, artistic, creative, and a born genius
Analeigh LOVES to read books and sing songs.  She is very smart herself, and extremely verbal. (Amber here: um, seriously, BRILLIANT child. I've never heard so much talking!)
